Squeegee - https://germes-plenki.ru/product/vygo... Instructions for gluing the film to glass. Necessary tools: sprayer, squeegee (rubber for washing windows), stationery knife, tape, ruler, squeegee (you can use a hard plastic card wrapped in microfiber so as not to scratch the film with the card, but it is difficult to work with a soft card and bubbles may remain). Soap solution: a few drops of liquid soap or shampoo per 1 liter of water. !!! Carefully read the instructions before installing the film. This film is applied from the inside of the room. The film is a fragile material and requires appropriate handling. When working, avoid creases and bends to avoid causing irreparable damage! 1. Cutting the films: the film is cut to the size of the glass, with an allowance (reserve) of 2-3 cm on each side. 2. It is important to wash the window until it is perfectly clean. Remove heavy dirt with a knife. Note: Before starting work on installing the film, it is advisable to humidify and remove dust from the air in the area of the installation using a hand sprayer. 3. Applying films to glass: the film is applied from the inside of the room. Moisten the glass with the installation solution using a hand sprayer (atomizer). Without removing the protective liner (film) from the adhesive layer, apply the sheet to the glass to clarify the cutting, if necessary, trim the film to the dimensions of the glass with an allowance of 2-3 cm. Remove the film from the glass and perform a control cleaning of the glass and frame using a water squeegee and a rag. Moisten the glass again using a hand sprayer with a soap solution. Remove the protective liner from the adhesive layer using tape (this procedure is shown in the video). Moisten the exposed glue with a soap solution. As you remove the protective liner, constantly moisten the adhesive layer with a soap solution. The solution has a temporary neutralizing effect on the glue. Make sure that the adhesive layer of the film and the glass are completely covered with the installation solution. Orient the film with the adhesive layer to the glass. Holding the film by the upper corners, bring it to the glass. The film should not come into contact with the frame and window handles to avoid contamination. Fix the upper corners of the film sheet to the glass and spread the film. Make sure that the film completely covers the entire surface of the glass. To avoid air bubbles and air lenses, it is necessary to carefully straighten the film on the glass. Using a hand sprayer, evenly wet the surface of the film attached to the glass with the installation solution. Throw the protective liner that you previously removed from the adhesive layer onto the film and then start working with the squeegee to remove the solution from under the film. Fix the film with the squeegee. To do this, make a vertical movement from the center of the film up, then down. 4. Completion of work. Install the squeegee at an angle of 45 degrees to the glass, and pressing it tightly to the film, with confident movements, begin working to squeegee the solution from under the film from the center to the edges. It is better to start horizontal runs with a squeegee from the top and lower them down as you roll them. Start each movement of the squeegee on the film from the place where the coating has already been rolled to the glass. Cut off excess film with a ruler and a stationery knife. Repeat the squeegeeing of the solution if necessary. The work is finished when the material is completely rolled to the glass. Carefully check that all the solution has been removed from under the film as much as possible. Pay special attention to the edges and corners. Blot the edges of the material with a paper or cotton napkin until the installation solution is completely removed. Step back 2 m from the window and carefully inspect the work. Correct any defects noticed immediately, if possible. The time for the film to gain maximum adhesion strength to the glass at a temperature of (18-22) 0C is 3 days. Conditions for installing films on glass indoors. The room temperature should be no higher than 40C and no lower than 10C. At temperatures above 40C, the likelihood of damage to the adhesive layer increases. At a temperature of about 10C, the time it takes for the adhesive layer to gain strength increases by 10-20 times, at a temperature below 10C - by 100 times or more. During installation, the air should not contain solvent vapors (acetone).
