We have over 1,000 subscribers on our channel and as a way of thanking you we recorded a complete class on sizing a circuit in a residential electrical project. Our video was divided into some topics, as follows: 1- Calculate the current of your electrical circuit; 2- Have the information on the power factor of your circuit. 3- Start sizing with the knowledge that, according to NBR 5410:2004, lighting circuits can be at least 1.5mm² and socket circuits 2.5mm². 4- Consult table 36 or 37 of NBR 5410:2004. 5- Get information about the circuit grouping factor to calculate the cable's current carrying capacity. 6- Compare the circuit current with the cable's actual current carrying capacity. 7- Calculate the voltage drop to check if the circuit fits the calculated parameters. This is a complete lesson on sizing conductors in an electrical project. Ideally, you should watch and review it whenever possible. I hope I have answered many of your questions. Best regards and see you next time.
