This video is about how to sew a lined blazer sleeve, also known as a tailored sleeve or two-ply sleeve. Whenever we talk about a blazer, the first thing that comes to mind is the sleeve with a cutout at the back, known by many as a tailored sleeve or two-ply sleeve (since it is made up of two parts). The tailored sleeve is the most commonly used sleeve on suits, blazers and coats because it follows the curve of the arm and makes the fit more beautiful and functional. In this video, I teach you how to sew a two-ply sleeve with lining, finishing it all on a straight sewing machine (without needing an overlocker).
