An audio amplifier assembled on transistors is one of the first homemade products of electronics engineers. However, when connecting a speaker to a power amplifier, you can hear unacceptable sound. This is due to incorrect amplifier settings, even if the audio amplifier circuit is assembled correctly. Often, the input circuit does not have a variable resistor that can change the amplitude of the input signal, and accordingly the sound level. Another variable resistor sets the quiescent current of the collector, as well as uniform distribution of voltage on the slightly open transistors of the output stage.
