How to replace a PNP sensor with another NPN Knowing how to differentiate a PNP sensor from an NPN sensor, knowing how they work and also knowing where and how we use the sensors is fundamental for the student and also for the electrical professional. We can consider that the sensor is a device that has the function of detecting, reading or transmitting information. We can also consider that sensors are devices widely used in industrial automation. The terms PNP and NPN refer to the internal construction of the sensor, as they represent P-type or N-type semiconductor materials. To simplify the understanding of the topic, we consider N as the Negative side and P as the Positive side. A PNP sensor, when triggered, will connect positive (+) to the load. While NPN sensor will connect negative (-) to the load. In this video, I show how the procedure should be to replace a PNP type sensor with another NPN, or vice versa, using a coupler relay. ==================================== Contact for services: (21) 97167-4116 (Rio de Janeiro - RJ) =================================== Share this video: • How to replace a PNP sensor with an out. .. =================================== Videos related to the subject: How the sensor works: • How they work the SENSORS How to test...
