To download and install, just follow the step-by-step instructions on their official website, create a free account and start using the tool. 2 - Create a Meeting on Zoom To start recording your video through Zoom, you must first create a meeting. Don't worry, your meeting can be private, where only you will have access. If you want to record a meeting with several people, it is also possible. But in this case, I will show you how to record your own video through Zoom Meeting, ok? To create your meeting, click on the NEW MEETING icon. 3 - Activate the Microphone and Camera on your Device If you have a Microphone and Camera on your device, remember to activate them so that the sound and image are captured during your Video recording. To do this, just click on the microphone and camera symbol in the menu below your screen in Zoom Meeting. 4 - Click on the Button to Start Recording your Meeting, Video or Class. Now, just click on the Button that says RECORD so that the video starts recording. After starting your recording, two more buttons will appear, one to pause and one to stop. The Pause Button is for you to take a break and continue recording later. The STOP button is for ending your recording. 5 - Share your screen or record your PowerPoint with Zoom Another option you have is to appear in the corner of your Zoom screen while it records your computer with PowerPoint, for example. To do this, just click on SHARE SCREEN in the Zoom menu and then select ADVANCED. After that, you can click on POWERPOINT AS VIRTUAL BACKGROUND. When you click on this function, it will ask you to select which PowerPoint file you want to start recording. Choose the folder on your computer where your file is saved and place it in Zoom. Zoom will automatically move your camera to the corner of the screen and will highlight the PowerPoint. After that, just do the same procedure and start your recording. It's that simple! 6 - Save your Recorded Video in Zoom When you click to STOP your recording, the recorded video is not yet processed at the time. It will only be created when you click on End Meeting (If the meeting is just for you, you can end it at any time. If you are in a class or meeting with other people, wait for the meeting to end before clicking this button). When you end the meeting, a message similar to the image below will appear to show that the video is being recorded on your computer.
