In this video I show the consequences of a front brake system without maintenance. The caliper is floating on its stem, guides, pins, and in this car the caliper was stuck, without travel, causing uneven wear of the brake pads or linings, premature wear of the ventilated brake disc or rotor, brake fluid or liquid decreasing its useful life due to the high temperature or heat generated by being in constant friction or rubbing of these 2 friction elements. It is also important to wash and grease the cylinder where the caliper pins slide, with high temperature grease, thus ensuring its correct operation in all regimes, climates or maximum demands of the brake system. This system has the function of transforming the kinetic energy of the moving vehicle into HEAT (Energy Transformation), which causes the car to slow down or stop completely when stepping on or activating the service brake pedal.
