Patagonian verbena, a beautiful plant, growing high, with purple-pink flowers gathered in umbels, blooms from July to late autumn. Described as a perennial, in our climate it is rather an annual plant, obtained from seeds or cuttings. In autumn I transplanted a dozen plants from the ground to a pot and wintered them on the veranda. Now I cut it to make it branch out, and I put the cut parts in water to let them grow roots, in order to obtain additional cuttings.
