In this video, I show you how to make a homemade silicone mold. It's a quick and easy process. I mixed the ingredients together: acetic silicone and wheat flour in a 2 to 1 ratio. Two measures of silicone and 1 measure of wheat flour. I mixed the two ingredients with a spoon until a uniform dough was formed. I added some blue food coloring, but it's unnecessary. You can make it without the food coloring. I applied moisturizer to my hands and kneaded the dough for about 10 minutes until the silicone stopped sticking to my hands. With the dough ready, I took the piece I was going to copy and applied moisturizer. Then I wrapped the dough around it. I pressed the silicone dough well with flour so that it would perfectly copy all the details of the piece. I waited for it to dry for 2 hours, checked if it was dry and unmolded the piece, that is, I took the piece out of the mold. The shell mold was easy. Since it's an open mold, I just pushed the shell out of the mold. For the head mold, I had to make two cuts in the mold to remove the piece from the mold. With the mold ready, I produced pieces with resin, plaster and biscuit. The result is good. I recommend this type of mold for small pieces, for the production of a few pieces. It is a quick and cheap method for making copies. For regular production, daily production and large pieces, I recommend liquid silicone molds. There are some videos on the channel and I also left a Paid Silicone Mold Course. This course has a guarantee. If you buy it and don't like my recommendation, you have 7 days to cancel the course and receive all your money back, without having to give any explanation and without bureaucracy.
