This important episode is for everyone, without exception, with my guest, Dr. Adam Bataineh, a specialist in internal medicine and oncology and interested in geriatric diseases. To live a healthy life for as long as possible, he suggests focusing on two things: preventive behaviors that protect us from fatal diseases and aging. Among these behaviors are nutrition, type of food, exercise, and identifying the types of sports that help prevent these diseases. After behaviors and prevention, we talk about the diseases themselves, these diseases that cause death for most of humanity, as people die primarily from heart and artery diseases, then cancer, then metabolic diseases. So what are heart diseases and what are their causes? When should intervention be behavioral or medicinal? And most importantly, how do I detect and know that I have these diseases as soon as possible? Likewise, cancer, the most important thing that reduces mortality rates from it is to detect it early; early detection makes most cases easily curable.
