One of the manifestations of loving the Arabic language is being keen to use it correctly and pronounce letters from their correct points of articulation, as dhal is not a zay and dad is not a tha, and staying away from words and phrases that are deeply colloquial and cannot be understood outside a limited geographical area. One of the manifestations of respecting the Arabic language is not mixing it with foreign accents, even if one is fluent in foreign languages, as each language has its own characteristics and place. Students at different stages of education suffer from a general weakness in their language, so linguistic errors increase in their writings, and this problem is evident in the process of linguistic expression, and one of its manifestations is the clear deficiency in listening skills. This weakness is the result of multiple factors that affect the educational process. The classical Arabic language has been affected by the dominance of what is called (colloquial languages), and colloquial dialects have derived most of their words and expressions from classical Arabic, and their use is prevalent among ordinary people in their daily lives. What strengthens the impact of colloquial is the widespread use of colloquial at home, on the street, or on television, and the restriction of classical Arabic in schools, with most teachers tending to use colloquial Arabic; and it requires a great effort from the school to help the student transition from colloquial dialect to classical Arabic. The student comes from an environment that relies on spoken language that differs from classical written language, as the spoken word still has a presence and impact despite the recorded vocabulary produced by the written language. Some countries adopt policies to improve the level of the language. Obligating teachers to ensure that the entire educational process is in classical Arabic, and not using colloquial language at all.
