HI, DOMOEQUIPO! Excited, once again, since this week we have a new electrical #DomoAventura. They called us from an apartment, in which a complete reform of the kitchen has been carried out and they need us to take care of passing the wiring through the corrugated tubes, but we have had more than one surprise when tackling this installation... Strongly thank Iván (Barcelona) for appearing at the beginning of the video, it has given the entire DomoEmotions team :D WILL YOU JOIN ME? The first problem we had to deal with was that the number and diameter of the tubes were not the ones required by the regulations. Once this first problem was solved, we started the wiring, more specifically, the following 7 circuits for the kitchen renovation: C1: Lighting circuit, for some LED downlights, distributed in a double switch to be able to switch on two devices. The cable section is 1.5mm2, inserted inside a 20mm (16mm according to the regulations) diameter tube and protected by a 10A circuit breaker. C2: This circuit is only and exclusively for the refrigerator, even though the regulations say that you can join it with the general use power sockets. For me, having the refrigerator circuit separate from the entire installation is essential to save energy in the home. Every night, before going to bed, I turn off everything except the refrigerator circuit, so I make sure that for about 8 hours I won't have phantom "Stand by" consumption. We have used 2.5mm2 cable introduced through a 20mm tube and protected by a 16A circuit breaker. C3: Cooker (induction ceramic hob) and C31 oven. We have subdivided these as we know the power ratings of the appliances and they were also located at different points in the kitchen. For the ceramic hob we have used 6mm2 wire through the 20mm tube that was already installed, when the regulations state that it should be 25mm 🙁 the lubricating gel has helped us a lot 🙂 25A protection in the circuit breaker. And for the oven, a 2.5mm2 line through a 20mm tube, protected with a 16A circuit breaker. C4: We have also divided it into C41 washing machine and C43 electric water heater, both with 2.5mm2 cable, 20mm tube and 16A circuit breaker. Some of you may wonder why there is no C42 dishwasher, the owners of the house simply prefer to wash by hand xD C5: Destination for the kitchen sockets (countertop sockets). This circuit is also linked to the bathroom sockets and the set is called sockets in wet areas 🙂 Powered by a 2.5mm2 line installed in a 20mm tube and protected by a 16A magnetothermal breaker, like almost all of them 😛 Subscribe, it doesn't give power http://goo.gl/yGSZ3O :) More technical stories at http://goo.gl/piJGdt Can I have a like?, a RT?, do you share it?
