I show you how to clean very dirty window panes and I give you some recommendations on how, with what and when to clean the panes so that it is easy for you to clean them. *How to clean the panes? -Start by cleaning the blinds, frames and rails. -Run a feather duster over the glass to remove any dust it may have. -First clean the inner side of the glass that is less dirty. -Clean from top to bottom. -Use two different movements: the inner side with horizontal movements and the outer side with vertical movements. This way if there is a mark you will know if it is on the inner or outer side of the glass by looking at the direction of the mark. *What to clean the panes with? -If you don't have a glass cleaner, you can prepare it at home by mixing vinegar and water in a spray bottle. I put one part vinegar and two parts water. -You will also need a sponge to clean the glass if it is very dusty -A bucket or basin with hot water and vinegar -And finally, use a lint-free cotton cloth or rag, or a special glass cloth *When should you clean the glass? -Avoid cleaning the glass if it is hot or windy. Ideally, clean it first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon, avoiding the hottest hours because the heat will make the glass dry faster and can lead to stains. And if it is very windy, the glass will also dry sooner than we want.
