Many entrepreneurs end up making mistakes when calculating their salary, which causes problems with the cash register. Because they are the owners and have their financial goals, they end up thinking that the freedom to take money out of the cash register will not lead to anything... And that's the problem, because they end up bleeding the cash register and taking more money than the business can sustain. Therefore, to prevent this from happening, one of the questions is: how do you calculate the business owner's salary? There are some business partners who work in the company and others who don't. Those who work receive a salary, the so-called pro-labore. Bruno explains how to calculate the salary so that you don't end your business. The first thing you should keep in mind is that in order to set your salary, you need to know exactly what your profit is. Profit is the money left over after you deduct the cost of the product, taxes, fees... For example, you have 10% in taxes and payment method fees, and 30 thousand reais in merchandise costs. The sales price of your product is 100 thousand reais. In total expenses, you have 40 thousand reais. Therefore, subtracting the 100 thousand, you have a profit of 60 thousand. But this money cannot be defined as the entrepreneur's salary, you have other types of expenses such as advertising, labels to print, platform... And the company needs working capital for these types of expenses. And, in addition, if you want your company to grow, many other investments will have to be made. So, the profit of the 60 thousand, at least a part, will have to be used for this. One tip from Bruno is to take the profit and divide it into 4 equal parts: one part for the company's reserve fund, another for working capital, another for expanding inventory, and the last part for the salary. This type of strategy keeps your cash flow organized and you can make a salary that fits your budget.
