The award of the professional title of Pharmacist, its use and the practice of the pharmaceutical profession in Portugal, depend on registration as a full member of the Portuguese Pharmacists' Association. The legal regime for the recognition of academic degrees and diplomas awarded by foreign higher education institutions is established by Decree-Law No. 66/2018, of August 16, and subsequent amendments. The Portuguese Pharmacists Association will only accept, for registration purposes, the Specific Recognition of an academic degree and diploma awarded by a Foreign Higher Education Institution, which has been recognized for the Integrated Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
