I apply limestone as follows: 300g per square meter of soil, apply once a year. Application in a pot: 20 grams of limestone per 10 liters of soil (or the pot's capacity). A level tablespoon gives exactly 20 grams. Benefits of limestone: it provides calcium, magnesium and helps reduce aluminum toxicity. It also helps release phosphorus that is fixed in the soil.
