Mine / lexxflaber There was a problem with the previous video. Attentive viewers noticed that the problem of incorrect operation of the light was not solved to the end. Had to urgently finish and redo... There is a common misconception that the low and high beam on the Vito 638 work from one dual-spiral lamp. This is not true. Since the low beam here works both when the high beam is turned on (as on many other foreign cars, including trucks) and when the fog lights are turned on, the low beam lamp H1 is located separately. So that when the low and high beam are working simultaneously, the H4 lamp does not overheat itself, does not overheat the reflector and connector, the designers used two separate lamps - H1 and H4. By the way, the fog lights can only work in tandem with the low beam, since these are different lamps. When the high beam is turned on, the fog lights are turned off. so as not to overheat the lamp and the rest. So, something was mixed up in my car and this scheme was broken. I had to remove the switch block and send it to an experienced auto electrician for repair. But even after that, the light did not work correctly! Mechanically, the switch began to work correctly: turning off the fog lights when the high beam was turned on. But instead of the low beam, the fog lights still turned on. This was watched to the end by attentive viewers in the previous version of this video. I had to change the position of two wires in the headlight connectors and re-shoot the end of the video. Thanks to the attentive viewers! :)
