Most of the film crew was buried under an avalanche of ice blocks, rocks and water. We met with those who, by a lucky chance, escaped this terrible fate. Colleagues of the famous actor and director, who became the hero of an entire generation, reconstructed the chronology of that fateful day minute by minute. They told whether the tragedy could have been avoided, how they helped search for the dead, and why, 22 years later, they still hope for a miracle.
