I'll take you to the beautiful and vibrant island capital of "Las Palmas de Gran Canaria" with its approximately 380,000 inhabitants. We drive along the sea into the city on the GC 1, where you can see the "Playa de las Alcaravaneras" and the sports boat/yacht harbor at the Club Marítimo Varadero de Gran Canaria. At the harbor "Puerto de la Luz" we have a view of the "El Muelle" shopping center and the berths of the cruise ships. From there we walk across the "Plaza de Canarias" to the "Elder" technology and science museum and then into the "Parque de Santa Catalina", where there are many bars, cafes, hotels and also the German consulate. Next I will introduce you to the very beautiful and 3.1 kilometer long "Playa de las Canteras". I will then show you this lively city beach from another beautiful perspective, namely from the large concert hall "Auditorio Alfredo Kraus" with its 1656 seats. This is located directly opposite the large shopping center "CC Las Arenas". After that I will show you the beautiful old town "Vegueta" with the Christopher Columbus House / Museum and the Santa Ana Cathedral.
