"How big is a dart?" is a very common question lately. Based on your questions, I made a short video from which you can quickly navigate what kind of dart you get on your pattern. I will note right away that I derived this dependence and the ratio of sizes in the drawing specifically for my method of construction, which I use in my work. It is applicable only to our Armalini cut. How this relationship works (and does it work?) on other cutting methods, I do not know. I have not tested it, I have not figured it out. I vouch only for the method that I "preach". The video "How to demodel a large bust dart" will be useful on this topic: • How to demodel a large bust... --- Subscribe to the free newsletter and you will be the first to know about the release of our new video tutorials on sewing: https://armalini.com/lending/
