We have always been asked about the costs of the homologation process and the migration process to Germany. It cannot be globalized because each case is individual. But here are my estimates based on my experience. Courses: A face-to-face course in Germany costs, apart from daily expenses, between 600-700 Euros per month. You should calculate at least 1.5 years to learn the language up to level B2, which is the level required to apply for your homologation. For this reason, we recommend learning the language online, in interactive courses. A preparation course for the homologation exams is also recommended. They give you the flexibility to combine your work with an interactive course, regardless of where you are. Translations: In Latin America, you can find official translators recommended by the consulates. To do this, check the website of the German consulate in your country. In Germany, translations are more expensive; you should calculate between 500-1500 Euros for translations. Visa: 70 Euros Health insurance: 30-50 Euros per month Flight: From Spain from 100 Euros, from Latin America between 600-800 Euros Exam costs: The B2 German exam can be taken in any country in the world where the Goethe Institute is located, which has official exams recognized in Germany. These exams cost 200 Euros. In Germany, the two homologation exams are given at the medical college in the region where you are homologating. The medical language exam (FSP) costs 350-450 Euros, the knowledge exam (KP) 700-800 Euros depending on the state where you want to homologate. Accommodation in Germany: Rent between 300-400 Euros per month. It depends on the type of accommodation. To cover the costs of room, food and transport you have to calculate between 900-1000 Euros per month. The embassy requires you to have an amount blocked in an account for your expenses in Germany of 861 Euros (2021) for each month of stay without income. With your first 2-3 salaries you will have paid for your investment. Did I forget something? Write me in the comments. ????
