Building your own house - who doesn't dream of it? Creating a beautiful home is at the top of the wish list for many families. However, it's not that simple. As a builder, you naturally have a lot of questions. How do you build a house? How does it work? Which trades are involved in building the house? Which materials, stones, heating systems, etc. are used? What do I have to prepare and take into account as a builder? How long does construction take? And much more. This documentation provides answers to these and many other questions. It shows the complete construction of a typical BRALE solid house - from the first ground work to the handover of the keys. Part 4 of the documentation shows the first interior work: windows and rough electrical installation. Windows: The windows are climate protection windows. 6 chamber profile and triple glazing. This ensures high energy efficiency. The window frame must first be prepared for installation. First step: attach sealing tapes. These ensure that the window frames are hermetically sealed with the masonry and that no water penetrates from the outside to the inside. When inserting the window frame into the masonry, the window frame must be precisely aligned and leveled. Otherwise, malfunctions could occur. Windows slam shut accidentally, jam or do not close properly. If everything is correct, the window frame is screwed to the masonry, the window sash is hung, the gaps are filled with assembly foam and the sealing strips are glued with permanently elastic adhesive. Finally, the window sills are installed: inside and outside. BRALE offers a large selection of window sills. The builders have chosen natural stone Jura marble for the inside. On the outside, however, they have chosen gray granite. Rough electrical installation: Before the electrical installation, there is electrical planning. The builders can incorporate their personal wishes into the electrical installation and decide for themselves where which connections should go. How many sockets are needed per room and where should they be located? Should the light be able to be switched on from different places? And much more. The builders should decide these questions for themselves in advance and ideally record them in a drawing, room by room, for example in the floor plan. There is then a joint house inspection and planning with the master electrician. He advises the builders, records their wishes room by room and notes the position of the switches and sockets on the walls and in his floor plan. The electrical installation can now be carried out. Rough electrical installation means: flush-mounted boxes and cables. The rest: switches, socket inserts, etc. comes after the plastering. The electrician drills recesses in the wall for the switches and sockets and uses the wall milling machine to create cable ducts. The flush-mounted boxes are placed in the recesses and secured with plaster. The electrician then lays the individual cables for the ceiling lamp, light switch, sockets, thermostat switches and roller blind switches. In total, more than 1km of cable was laid in the house and almost 200 flush-mounted boxes were installed. Construction time for rough electrical installation: 1 week. ------------------- BRALE builds solid construction houses with high quality standards at attractive prices.
