The animation shows how the power grid works today and which system services must be provided to ensure a stable power supply. The expansion of renewable energies is also leading to changes in the power grid and thus new challenges. The animation shows possible solutions for a stable power supply even without conventional power plants, as is also being investigated in the Kombikraftwerk2 project (www.kombikraftwerk.de).
