In this video I will show you step by step how to install a meter box. We start with the installation of the meter box 25d60. Preparation We start by hanging the meter box. This is hung at a height of 135 cm from the bottom. Next to the meter box comes the distribution board and the power cables are attached at the bottom. All necessary accessories such as cables and mounting materials are already at hand. Installation of the Cables There are two cables: an incoming cable from the street and a cable that goes to the distribution board. In this setup we use the left side for the incoming cable and the right side for the connection to the distribution board. We cut the cables to the correct length and feed them into the box. Then we fix them with screws and place a strain relief for extra safety. Fixing the Main Cables We drill a tap every 10 cm to fix the cables. We mount the main cables on the plate with tension straps. Use heavy duty straps and pliers to tighten them properly. We ensure that the cables are neatly folded and secured. Connecting the Power Cable The power cable from the distribution board is prepared and placed. We then connect the cable to the differential switch. The colour code is less important in domestic installations, but we still follow the standard colours for neatness. Completion and Preparation for Fluvius Finally, we put the cover of the meter box in place. This is partly screwed down so that Fluvius can connect and seal the meter later. The rest of the installation, such as placing the cable to the street, is carried out by Fluvius. This depends on the specific situation of the home and street. (normally the installer must already place the cable outside and connect it to the separator in the meter box) Conclusion This manual gives a clear overview of the steps required to install a meter box.
