A herd of goats is taking over the road, making it impossible to go anywhere, but then a woman appears in a car! Originally from Germany and an actress, she has been working as a shepherd here for two years... The villages of Sabbione and Foroglio in Val Bavona that we met on the way to Bosco/Gurin. They say that these villages were where shepherds used to stay before going up to the Alps in the summer, but there is still no electricity, so people only live in the summer. In Sabbione, where houses built under a rock are reminiscent of a hobbit village in the movie, we meet a resident who is busy with construction to survive the summer and are treated to tea. In the village of Foroglio, located not far from Sabbione, the Foroglio Falls that falls from a height of 108m catches the eye. We taste Polenta, a traditional corn dish, while looking at the waterfall. Finally, we arrive at Bosco/Gurin, a small village with only 46 residents. However, it has everything you need, such as a post office, brewery, bakery, and restaurant. The reason is that the residents basically have three jobs.
