#Mary_the_Virgin How did Mary die and what did she ask of the Angel of Death? The pure, fasting, standing Lady Mary is the most honorable of women and the most perfect of them is Mary, daughter of Imran. Imran's wife was unable to have children until she grew old and decrepit. One day, while she was taking shelter under a tree, she found a chick feeding its young ones. She prayed to God and vowed that if God blessed her with a boy, she would give him to serve the Holy House. God answered her and she became pregnant, but she became pregnant with a girl. At that time, girls were not allowed to serve in the mosque and the matter was limited to boys. Imran's wife felt sorry for God and said, "O Lord, I have given birth to a female, and God knows best what I have given birth to. A male is not like a female. I have named her Mary." God accepted her and made her grow well, and her maternal aunt's husband, our master Zachariah, took care of her. To learn the journey of Mary, what happened to her, how she died, and what the Angel of Death said to her, follow this video with us. The Virgin Mary The Virgin Mary, daughter of Imran, is the pure, infallible, chaste virgin, daughter of Imran, from the lineage of our father Abraham, peace be upon him. Her birth: It was narrated that Imran’s wife was barren, and while she was sitting under a tree, she saw a bird feeding its chicks, so a motherly feeling stirred within her and she said: O Lord, I have a vow to you, in gratitude to you, if you grant me a son, I will give him in charity to the Holy House to serve it, so God Almighty answered her, so she became pregnant and gave birth to a girl, who is the Lady Mary, and the mother was hoping for a son to fulfill her vow. Maryam lived under the care of her aunt’s husband, the Prophet of God Zechariah. Her home was the mosque, and food came to her from the unseen by the permission of God Almighty, until God’s command came to her to give her the good news of a boy. She was amazed, how could she have a son when she was not married? However, God’s will is above all laws. Maryam became pregnant, and left the mosque so that people would not see her belly. She sat under a palm tree with a stream of water next to her, until labor pains came, and she gave birth to the Prophet of God Jesus, peace be upon him. Then she carried her son and lived on a nearby mountain, worshipping God, taking care of her son, eating the herbs of the earth, and drinking rainwater. Her death: The Virgin Mary lived with her son, the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon them, in the mountain, far from the eyes of people. They worshipped and prayed at night and fasted during the day, relying for their food on the plants of the earth and rainwater. One day, Jesus came down from the mountain to collect some plants to eat with his mother. At that moment, an angel came down to the Virgin Mary while she was praying in her prayer niche. She was afraid and fell unconscious. After she regained consciousness, she said to the angel: Who are you, may God have mercy on you? He said to her: I am the Angel of Death. She said to him: Have you come as a visitor or to seize? He said: Rather, to seize. She said: O Angel of Death, do not be hasty until the joy of my eyes, the delight of my heart, and the apple of my eye, Jesus, returns. He said to her: God Almighty did not command me to do this, and I am a servant commanded by God. She said: O Angel of Death, I have surrendered my affair to God Almighty and I am satisfied with His judgment. On the second day, Jesus, peace be upon him, entered to his mother and found her asleep, so he did not wake her from her sleep out of mercy for her. He got up to pray until a third of the night had passed. Then he returned to his mother and stood at her head, turning her hand and saying to her: Peace be upon you, mother. It is midnight, the fasting people have broken their fast, and the worshippers have risen to worship the Almighty. But he did not hear any response from her, so he thought that she was tired and wanted to sleep. He returned to her a third time, trying to wake her up until he heard a voice from the sky telling him that his mother’s soul had ascended to the sky. So he, peace be upon him, fell unconscious and was very sad until he heard a voice saying to him: O Spirit of God, do you want a better companion than me? He said: I seek refuge in the glory and compassion of my Lord, for I am satisfied with the judgment of my Lord. Then our master Jesus descended to one of the villages of the Children of Israel calling: O Children of Israel, I am the Spirit of God, Jesus, son of Mary. My mother has died, so help me wash her and bury her. The villagers replied that this mountain is full of snakes and no one has walked it for years. So Jesus returned and on his way back he met two men and said to them: My mother died a stranger on this mountain, so help me bury her. The two men replied that Gabriel had sent them to do so. So t
