This video is the life story of one of the founders of political assassinations in contemporary Iranian history; Mojtaba Navab Safavi, a radical cleric who used assassination to break political deadlocks and eliminate opponents. He assassinated three Iranian prime ministers; Abdolhossein Hezhir; powerful Lieutenant General Razm Ara and Hussein Ala; and threatened to kill Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh. There are few people in Iranian history who assassinated three heads of state. Hezhir and Razm Ara were killed instantly, Ala was wounded, and Mossadegh was eventually overthrown in a coup, a coup that Navab Safavi congratulated the Shah on. In this video, we tell you the adventures of one of the most complicated periods in contemporary Iranian history and the life story of a man who used the power of arms to change political equations. The militant cleric who met with the Shah was allied with Abolghasem Kashani, and Ayatollah Boroujerdi, the Shiite authority, was fed up with him and the extremism of those around him.
