How can we strengthen our bond with Allah (swt)? Halis Bayancuk Hoca (Abu Hanzala) Allah Almighty (swt) has many names. The Prophet (pbuh) tells him so. He says, I ask you for the names that only you know, the names that you have hidden with you in the unseen world. So, Allah also has names that we do not know, that are specific to the unseen world. But Allah, praise be to Him, has sent down 99 of them to us through the sharia. And He has extended 99 separate hands to us. He has extended 99 separate ropes, 99 separate branches. Each of these branches is the bond between us and Allah. In other words, the name Ar-Rahman is a bond between me and Allah. The name Ar-Rahim is a bond between me and Allah. The name Ash-Shafi is a bond between me and Allah. Who? I am saying this in the words of the Prophet (pbuh). If he realizes the beautiful names of Allah, that is, if he encompasses these names, knows their meanings very well, and serves his Lord according to their requirements, then he will have strengthened his bond with Allah. Why? Because there is no moment in our lives when one of Allah's names, absolutely but definitely, manifests itself at that moment. We definitely encounter one of Allah's names. No matter what area of ​​life it is. In order for me to be in a situation that pleases Allah, no matter what it is, in the face of that thing I encounter, I need to know Allah. I need to know the name of Allah that concerns that situation. I need to manifest that name. I need to learn to serve Allah with it. Therefore, there are two paths before us. To strengthen our bond with Allah. One, we will know Allah with the names that Allah introduces Himself to us. This is very important. Two, we will not stop there. In our daily lives, we will know serving Allah with these names as a responsibility, like prayer, fasting, and we will serve Allah with those names. The first leg of this work involves knowledge, learning. The second leg involves will, effort, action. The second leg involves this. If we do this, rest assured, the more a person worships Allah with the names of Allah, the stronger the bond between him and Allah and His Majesty the Almighty becomes. We can also spread this over time. One name of Allah every day, one name of Allah every week, one name of Allah every month does not matter. Because this effort is a very valuable effort, it does not matter how short or long it is. As long as a person makes such an effort. My advice to each of you is, if you can, perceive and understand one name of Allah once a day, if you cannot, once a week, and try to worship Allah with that name throughout that week. When you do this, you will see this. When you act on what you know, Allah will teach you what you do not know and what you do not have enough strength to do.
