In today's Open House, I'll show you the home of Marcela Muniz, a partner at MAB3 Arquitetura (@mab3arquitetura). The house was delivered on the slab, without walls, completely open. The spaces and environments were created, and 100% of the interior design and garden were done from scratch. The house has 3 floors, with the playroom, office and bathroom on the basement. On the ground floor is the social area with living/home, dining room, toilet, kitchen and service area, as well as the garden with pool and lounge. On the first floor are the 3 suites, 1 for the couple, and the other two for the three children. Marcela Muniz wanted something minimalist, but at the same time cozy. That's why the office used wood, textured fabrics and natural materials. The carpentry was 100% designed and developed for this project, without tops, very clean and minimalist. There was a lot of use of carpentry benches with futons in several rooms. Floor-to-ceiling doors, panels in the bedrooms with built-in beds, benches and dressers. The same wood as the floor was used to cover the ceiling and walls. Woven fabrics. And the materials used: wood, stone, metal. ????
