Hotel Casa Blue Luxury Resort - Egypt, Marsa Alam - Drone to interesting places WM Foxtrott Hotel Casa Blue is a five-star facility located approx. 17 km from the airport in Marsa Alam and approx. 15 km from the PORT GHALIB I mentioned earlier. It should be noted that the hotel is only for guests over the age of twelve. This means that it is an excellent option for all who value a quiet, comfortable stay. The hotel has 4 restaurants, including 3 á la carte, 3 bars (in the lobby, by the pool and by the beach), 3 swimming pools, including 1 relaxation pool with hydromassage and a terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel was completely renovated in 2023 and, what is worth mentioning, free wireless internet works very well. Outside the main building, there are several shops, including souvenirs, snorkeling supplies, or clothing. The hotel has 200 rooms located on the ground floor and on the first floor, and when it comes to rooms, there are 6 options on offer. The basic option is a superior double room with an area of 36 m2 with the possibility of 1 extra bed. Other room options, such as rooms with a sea view, or with direct access to the pool shared with other rooms (heated in the winter season) or with a jacuzzi on the balcony and direct access to the pool or rooms with the above-mentioned amenities with an area of approx. 80 m2, require an additional fee. During our stay at the hotel, which fell on the second half of November, all the pools were filled with heated water at such a fantastic temperature that we did not want to leave them. Right next to the hotel, just behind the pools, there is a sandy and shingle hotel beach, with a gentle descent to the sea and easy access to the coral reef. Reaching the reef, or rather its vertical wall, is made easier by a wooden, over 800-meter pier. A great place for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. Free umbrellas and sunbeds are available on the beach. The hotel has a very active and cheerful animation team that makes your stay in this nice facility more enjoyable. In the evening, during dinner, hotel guests are accompanied by very pleasant music. Later, the music becomes more expressive. I rate the quality and selection of meals served in the main restaurant positively. Of course, the opinions presented in this regard by individual guests may vary. Personally, I have not come across a negative assessment. During your stay at the hotel, you can take advantage of a rich excursion offer, starting with a trip to Luxor, including a visit to Karnak, which was built for 1500 years, the Colossi of Memnon, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings, ending with trips including admiring coral reefs, or a trip to El Quseir or Port Ghalib, or a quad trip to the desert. Since we had already done most of these trips during our stay in Egypt, we decided to go to Port Ghalib in the evening and take a two-hour walk along its seaside promenade, with its many restaurants, cafes, boutiques and nightclubs.
