In another program of "One Narrative" series, we had a conversation with Hoshang Nahavandi, a politician and former president of Shiraz Pahlavi University and Tehran University. During the era of Mohammad Reza Shah, Mr. Nahavandi was also the Minister of Science for a while, as well as the Minister of Development and Housing. He was also the head of the special office of Farah Pahlavi. Hoshang Nahavandi has published more than 10 volumes of books in Persian and French languages, and his latest book titled "Reza Shah, Son of Iran" was published a while ago. In this conversation with Mr. Nahavandi, we ask him about this book and the role of Reza Shah in the contemporary history of Iran. In this narration, Mr. Nahavandi considers Reza Shah as a man who rose from among the people and was the savior of Iran. He says that despite the opposition of the clerics, Reza Shah was able to implement the issue of removing the hijab with authority, and despite their opposition, he also did other things. including shortening the hands of clerics from the judiciary and establishing a new judiciary in Iran. Mr. Nahavandi says that he was very close to Mohammad Reza Shah and introduces him as a very educated and knowledgeable person who was knowledgeable about global issues.
