Based on the natural features of the Hortobágy National Park, the Hortobágy Game Park is excellently suited to presenting the wildlife of the ancient puszta. Among its inhabitants are animal species that lived in this region before the appearance of man, but were displaced from the area due to the spread of civilization, such as: wolf, jackal, wild horse, vulture, pelican, as well as wild animals that still live in protected areas today: wild cat, fox, ferret, roe deer, meadow eagle, summer goose, batla, great egret, grey heron, crane, white stork, black stork. The game park offers nature programs where all generations can find useful and valuable opportunities to spend time. An exhibition presenting the ancient wildlife of the puszta, a gift shop and a snack bar, as well as a playground with unique play elements, increase the visitors' sense of comfort and allow them to spend longer. The design of the enclosures allows for photography of the animals.
