After a long time, both steam locomotives 475.196 and 477.013 arrived on the line from Banská Bystrica to Margecan, where they also served during the steam operation. The organizers of the event intended for railway documentarians chose the first weekend of February, which fulfilled all expectations from the point of view of winter conditions. On Saturday 4 February 2023, Vrútecká pětasedma 475.196 with a set of 6 four-axle cars set off from Slovenská Lupča towards Červená Skala. Here, due to deteriorated adhesion conditions, two cars had to be disconnected and the train continued to the Dobšinská Ľadová Jaskyňa station. This stretch was repeated one more time before sunset. The second day begins with the impact of the sharp rays of the low morning sun on the Červená Skala station. The frost, down to minus 15 degrees, left its mark even on the locomotive itself. This time, after crossing the Besnické saddle, the train arrived along the Hnilec river to the Mlynky station. Here the five-seventh meets the Poprad parrot 477.013 for the first time. After "handing over the baton" in the form of 5 passenger cars, the train starts back through the most beautiful parts of this railway line to Telgárt station. To say goodbye, express locomotive 475.196 passed through the Telgárt loop at a brisk pace.
