The car is based on the Fit (Jazz). But now the model designation consists of one word - the previous name Fit Shuttle is no longer used. The hybrid differs from the compact Honda Shuttle hatchback, first of all, by its elongated rear end with an increased overhang. Four years later, the manufacturer rolled out an updated version of the model. The upgraded Shuttle received new bumpers, the front one has horizontal fog lights instead of round ones. The headlights and taillights have been changed. The Shuttle can still be ordered in a front-wheel drive version with a 1.5-liter engine (110 hp), as well as in a version with all-wheel drive and a hybrid power plant. In addition to the modified optics, the external changes are indicated by numerous chrome details: door handles, door sills, moldings on the trunk. The interior of the Honda Shuttle received a new finish, including black piano lacquer, the feeling of increased quality is enhanced by new leather seats. The rear central armrest now has two cup holders. In addition to the usual trim levels, versions with a swivel passenger seat are offered. When assessing comfort, the manufacturer notes the use of highly effective soundproofing materials, the presence of an automatic air conditioner with an air purification system from dust and allergens, a large distance between the front and rear seats, the latter have a mechanism for adjusting the tilt of the backrests. In the power part, the Honda Shuttle hybrid station wagon remains the same. The gasoline modification is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with direct injection, with a capacity of 110 hp at 6000 rpm (torque 134 Nm at 5000 rpm). The unit works in combination with a variator. There is a hybrid installation. It includes a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine (operates on the Atkinson cycle), an electric motor, lithium-ion batteries and a 7-speed "robot" with a double clutch. The drive can be front or full in any of the modifications. The Honda Shuttle hybrid with front-wheel drive, as declared by the manufacturer, consumes 2.9 liters of fuel per 100 km. The mono-drive version of the station wagon with a traditional internal combustion engine spends 4.58 liters of gasoline to cover the same distance. Like many cars in its class, the Honda Shuttle has an independent front suspension with MacPherson struts and a semi-independent rear (beam), but all-wheel drive cars have a dependent suspension (De Dion). The braking system combines ventilated disc mechanisms on the front wheels and drums on the rear. The car is standardly equipped with tires of size 185/60R15. The steering uses a rack-and-pinion mechanism and an electric booster. The manufacturer notes a small turning radius of 4.9 m. The length of the station wagon body is 4440 mm, width - 1695 mm, height - 1545 mm (for all-wheel drive - 1570 mm). The central location of the fuel tank helped to increase the volume of the interior. The dimensions of the cabin: 1925 x 1450 x 1290 mm (L x W x H). The trunk volume of the station wagon is 570 liters for the hybrid version and 606 liters for the mono-drive version with a traditional internal combustion engine. If the rear seat is folded, the figure increases to 1141 liters. The loading height is only 54 cm.
