A Honda Accord was brought in for diagnostics and repair. Symptoms: the engine does not respond to the gas pedal, does not pick up speed, the check engine, ABS, and ESP errors are lit on the panel. Diagnostics using the Launch, Thinkdiag, Kingbolen scanner, and the Ediag, Diagzone Pro 2 software program shows an error in the TPS throttle position sensor, error code p0223. An attempt to reset the errors, to zero was unsuccessful, the error was not resettable but constant. When checking the connector on the throttle valve, the throttle valve assembly, it was found that one wire was missing any power, signal, or pulse. When checking, it turned out that the wire inside the connector had broken off at the root, directly from the contact. Restoring the wiring and further checks showed that the malfunction was in this place. The price of an auto electrician's work is diagnostics.
