Friends, friends, I have a recipe for homemade špekáček for you today. It is inspired by the ČSN standard, but slightly modified because I didn't like some things there ;) That's why I'm not writing that it is according to the standard, because inspiration does not mean copying and a few diggers would definitely chime in ;) The špekáček is made from pork and beef in roughly the same proportion. Both are ground finely and lard is mixed in with spices, which is ground coarsely. The delicious špekáček can be eaten cold, warm - heated in a water bath or in spring or summer over a fire.
