The death of a 26-year-old woman, mother of two young children, challenges the São Paulo police. Maria Eduarda went out with her sister-in-law and they met four boys. The sister-in-law returned home and the young woman went to a dam with the men, but never returned. After ten days, the family received news that her body was found on a highway, showing signs of violence. The cause of death was trauma. Despite the police's suspicion that Maria Eduarda was run over, relatives believe that she was murdered by members of a criminal faction, as her husband allegedly confronted one of the boys who were with the victim. This man allegedly threatened him, saying that he had ties to the PCC and that he should stop investigating Maria Eduarda's death.
