On July 12th, the legendary Dornier Do X celebrated its anniversary. Exactly 80 years ago, the commercial aircraft, which went down in aviation history as the largest flying boat of its time, took to the skies for the first time. From July 24th, 2009, visitors can marvel at a replica of the interior cabin with original parts in the Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance.
