These historical photos show the work of a historic field-fired brickworks. They are photos from the Rhineland Regional Association from 1963 from Sabershausen in the Hunsrück. This is how bricks were fired in many places over 100 years ago. This is probably how the father of the JUWÖ company founder Philipp Jungk did it before 1862. A tough job! The industrialization of brick production began with the invention of the Hoffmann ring kiln. Anyone who looks at the high-tech JUWÖ production today will hardly be able to believe that these were the beginnings.
