Historical buses in the Czech and Slovak republics after world war. The development of passenger transport after the Second World War prompted the Czech machinery industry to further develop their vehicles in the direction of the new market opportunities that opened up. A good example of this is the Praga RN, which is actually a modified version of a 1949 truck. In cooperation with Karosa works, the Tatra car factory also appeared at this time with the Tatra 500 HB bus, which was intended for use on mountain roads. The other large Czech car manufacturer, Skoda, also followed this spirit, if possible even more successfully. Some of the original pieces of the above types were rescued from junkyards by amateur collectors and clubs. This DVD presents some of the most remarkable pieces in the collection and tells their fascinating stories. This DVD has not been commercially released.
