Genoa's historic aqueduct: the section that starts from via Burlando, runs over a stretch of heavy urbanization from the 60s/70s, and reaches the mouth of the Veilino tunnel, crossing which you arrive at the start of the siphon bridge, which crosses a good part of the Staglieno cemetery. The route crosses a long crêuza, Salita San Pantaleo, which was the only road connecting the town of San Pantaleo to the valley floor. At a certain point on the climb there is a deviation that leads to the San Pantaleo bridge, a canal bridge of the aqueduct, used before the construction of the siphon bridge. The Municipality of Genoa had approved and entrusted some works to fix the section. Unfortunately, the works were interrupted almost immediately and have not yet resumed. Once again this municipal administration, with the mayor first and foremost, has proven to be unreliable and above all not interested in making a work like the historic aqueduct more accessible to all citizens.
