The Hirrlingen church was consecrated in its current form and size in 1772. So it was built from 1770 to 1772. In 1822, the Hirrlingen population grew tired of local rule and bought up the castle estate with all its fields and forests. These two anniversaries were celebrated with an anniversary parade and village festival on July 24, 2022. The craft procession was set up to depict how the parade to the topping-out ceremony probably took place (in the past). Since serfdom was not abolished until after 1800, all of the craft branches in the village had to help out at that time. Unfortunately, not all of the crafts that were common at the time could be represented in the parade. However, a large proportion were made up of carpenters, joiners, plumbers, stonemasons, bricklayers, painters and plasterers, and without a blacksmith there would be no tools or fasteners (nails, slings, staples, etc.). During a stage performance, a carpenter's clap was performed by eight people and a verdict was given. As an encore, 16 craftsmen from different trades, simultaneously and crosswise, set up a craftsman's clap (as a premiere) in Hirrlingen.
