This is an introduction to our trip to Hiroshima and Miyajima. We enjoyed sightseeing in Miyajima and the delicious gourmet food, and in the evening we went to Okonomiyaki Yuuyu, a restaurant under the railway tracks where locals gather, to eat Hiroshima okonomiyaki and grilled oysters, and drank to our heart's content. We also traveled from Okayama to Hiroshima in a compartment on JR West's Shinkansen Railstar, and spent the time feeling like we were in a hotel.
