The large vineyard near the small town of Bremm on the Moselle is 376 meters high and is considered the steepest vineyard in Europe. In 2002, the German Alpine Association built a via ferrata there. The path leads right through the vineyard, is adventurous and nerve-wracking in places, but is always well secured by steel cables, footrests, foot pegs and six ladders.
