On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October 2019, the annual Steam Train Days of the Steam Foundation Netherlands were planned. During these 2 days, the steam depot of the SSN can be visited and reached via the steam train that shuttles between the depot and Gouda. During this event there were 2 guest locomotives, the VSM 23 071 & VSM 23 076. Because the 65 018 does not have its own ATB and is therefore not allowed to drive independently, and the 01 1075 is also no longer allowed on the main line due to a defect, these days were driven with 3x Baureihe 23. Both locomotives were under steam and could be viewed from the inside. At the SSN depot, the SSN 8811 provided footplate rides for the visitors present.
