Hardly any other aquarium fish is as varied as the guppy. Almost all shapes, colors and markings are possible. This video presents some of the most unusual breeds of recent years. General information on the guppy: Belongs to the order of tooth carp (Cyprinodontiformes) and the family of live-bearing tooth carp (Poeciliidae). It reaches a size of 3-5cm and the wild form can live up to 8 years, whereas highly bred guppies only reach an age of around 2 years if well cared for. The males of the genus are more colorful than the females, smaller in body shape and have a gonopodium.
