About :

The Atlas Crossing, between Marrakech and Taroudant, is the longest route of this new offroad raid in Morocco made in March 2024. This video brings together a selection of the most beautiful tracks, sometimes technical, often little frequented or even dangerous, from single to panoramic balcony on tracks that take us to more than 3000m. We are struck by the multiplicity of landscapes, colors and vegetation, another magnificent mountain stage! It starts with a mule track behind Ourika, to reach Oukaïmeden at more than 3000m altitude and then, after an evening stopover in Takerkoust at the "guest farm Jnane Tihihit" that I recommend, we crossed the High Atlas through the region affected by the earthquake of October 2023 and we managed to pass through the Tizi n'Tabgourt pass at more than 2600m to begin a long descent towards the South. The arrival in Taroudant was epic, road under construction, crossing villages and another small mule track to reach civilization and the comfort of the "Riad Dar Tourkia", opposite the fire station, a very nice evening stopover that I recommend. #Atlasmountains #AJP
