I went to Isazen Ryokan in Higashi Naruko Onsen, Naruko Onsen Village, for a self-catering hot spring cure. I've been to Isazen Ryokan a few times to just drop in, but this was my first time staying overnight. That being said, it's been over 10 years since I last stayed there. Check-in is from 12:00 and check-out is at 11:00, so I was able to relax for 23 hours. There are 4 or 5 cats wandering around the building, which is even more relaxing for cat lovers.
