However, cruises are also controversial because of their environmental impact and the working conditions on board. WHAT IS THERE TO CRITICIZE ABOUT CRUISES? Cruises are often heavily criticized. One of the reasons is that cruises have an extreme impact on the environment with the pollutants produced by the heavy fuel oil propulsion.
