A love story that is the subject of the folk song “Hey Onbeşli” from the Tokat region... Hey Onbeşli... The film tells the story of the difficult days of Hediye, the fiancée she left behind after a young man was drafted for the Gallipoli War. Hediye begins to experience difficult days after her fiancé Hüseyin is drafted. During the chaos in the village taken captive by bandits, Hediye’s best friend Gülcan loses her life. Hediye, who wounds the bandit leader Şekip and escapes, draws all of Şekip’s anger on herself. In the meantime, news of Hüseyin’s martyrdom spreads throughout the village as a result of a mix-up. The young girl, who has given up hope on her fiancé, agrees to marry Emin Bey, who is as old as her father, in order to escape the pressure of her family and the bandit leader Şekip’s thirst for revenge. Hediye, who has opened the door to a new life, is followed by misfortunes. As a result of Emin Bey’s jealous daughter Ümmü’s trap, the young girl falls into the hands of the bandits again. In the complicated process, Emin Bey dies, Hediye and her family are excluded by society and pushed into loneliness. The young girl thinks Hüseyin is dead after all she has been through, and his surprise return to the village complicates the situation even more. Hediye now tries to explain that her love for Hüseyin has never ended.
